Verde Vercelli di Andrea Vetri fells trees in Vercelli and across the province even where space is tight: by tree climbing, section by section, with each piece lowered to the ground and the timber taken away at the end. We work in private gardens, residential courtyards and business premises.

How we work

Site visit and assessment
We look at the tree, the space around it and the access, and decide whether to fell it whole or in sections. The site visit is free.
Felling plan
We set the anchor points, the lowering lines and where the timber will be stacked, and agree with you how to protect the lawn, fences and parked cars.
The work
The arborist climbs with ropes and a harness and takes down the crown and trunk one piece at a time; on the ground a second arborist manages the lowering and keeps the area clear.
Clean-up and disposal
We cut up the timber, load branches and trunks and leave the garden clean. If you wish, we also grind out the stump.

When the tree cannot come down in one piece

When a tall tree has to be felled in a confined space — a garden, a courtyard, a public area — there is no room to drop it whole, and often no vehicle can get in. Verde Vercelli works by tree climbing: no aerial platforms, no cranes; the arborist climbs the tree with ropes and a harness, works from above and fells it section by section, lowering each piece to the planned spot. The result is a felling with no impact on roofs, fences or nearby plants, and no ruts in the lawn.

The questions we are asked most often

Do I need permission to fell a tree?

It depends on the municipality and on any restrictions on the tree or the site: several municipalities around Vercelli regulate tree felling through their own green-space rules. Verde Vercelli tells you at the site visit what to check, but the application remains the owner's responsibility.

What happens to the timber?

Verde Vercelli cuts up the timber, loads it and takes it away with the branches at the end of the job; disposal appears in the quote as a separate item. If you would rather keep some of the wood, we agree that before we start.

Do you remove the stump as well?

On request, yes: after felling, Verde Vercelli grinds the stump below ground level with a dedicated stump grinder, so the area can be reseeded or replanted.
